4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 21st   Clear and beautiful-   The first glance from our windows is grand.   The dark narrow waters of the lake hemmed in by high verdant ranges, running so straight into the lake that a footing is scarcely anywhere left for a house to rest upon. And conspicuous, upon the right, across this little arm of the lake stands the isolated sugar loaf Mount St Salvadore, rising 2950 above the town, upon the smallest pinnacle of which stands a white chapel, a catholic “pilgrimage” as they call them.
