3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 From our apartments we cross the principal business street of the city, pass through the “Kürsall” (a large public hall for promenades, refreshments, +c. which will be described hereafter), down its terraces in the rear, into their garden a beautifully ornamented resort of four or five acres, on, across the “Promenade” a handsome street along the southern side of the large grounds contain’g the springs, thence into said grounds or Park where one can roam in beautiful walks and drives all day long.    

4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 The springs are five in number, named after celebrated personages, “brunnen” means spring.- Elizabethenbrunnen, Stahlbrunnen, Kaiserbrunnen, Ludwigbrunnen, Luisenbrunnen– The first named (prescribed for us) is the farthest way, so our ladies find it necessary to employ a cab for one hour each morning-
