There are at least half a dozen different representations of Susanna discovered at the bath by two Elders- Several of the maiden nursing her father condemned to death. Two large paintings by Rubens and Giordano of the Massacre of the innocents [sic], the latter’s is the best coloring, but the former is conceived in his customary spirited style that is interresting- And here again we find two old heads by Denner, excellent, he seems to revel in old heads-
