2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 of Chine at the end of the street railway-      Half mile farther
we pass through a scattering village   through the centre of which
runs the division line between Switzerland ^ +^ the French province of
Savoy,  designated by a little bridge over a ravine-       but we
are not disturbed by revenue detention,  the department of the
“high Aples” [sic] being exempted from imposts.     Half mile further
the large savoyard village of Annemasse.        At Nangy
our Horses are detached and five other handsome [sic] ones substituted
also a new driver who jumps up with an “ough” an indescribable
grunt on the rising accent which starts the animals on the full
gallop.     Almost exciting, to be rushed along at such speed
were it not that the driver urges them still faster, sitting his seat
with an ease and handling the five horses with a grace which
shows his devotion to his profession.

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 At Bonnville 940 AM again change Horses this time taking four
white ones which indicated a xxx level road ahead, also a new driver
Through Bonnville across the stone bridge over the swift Arve at the other

a round shaft
in many sections
surmounted by
a statue of King
Charles Felix
of Sardinia
