It is a gay scene, sprinkled with sunshine and shadow. Merry children, romping around the decrepit in wheeled chairs- The latter is quite a common sight. Sometimes they are pushed and others have tongues for drawing. Fat Dowagers, and crippled millionaires by the aid of these smooth roads, and strong servants, have as good a chance at the waters as the rest of us.
