3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 July 5th  Having already waited five days for the arrival of Dr Webers instructions and having telegraphed to the Post Masters at Hamburg and Homburg Pfalz to see if the letters had gone there, we sent for the Dr Friedlieb referred to in the dispatch, and under his instructions began our course at the Springs. The routine is as follows= Mrs JH. Mrs. RP. and myself take two glass [sic], fifteen or twenty minutes apart, from the ‘Elizabethanbrunnen’, every morning before Breakfast Alice one glass-  while Jep takes one glass from the ‘Ludwigbrunnen’.  Mrs JH also takes a five minute inhalation of carbonic gas through a rubber tube. Two hours after Breakfast Anna and Alice take a bath of mineral water containing a “Maas”, some kind o lye, salt +c.
